Poster idea 3
Looking at the last two designs i drew, i can see that they look similar in appearance so i have decided to create another design which has a different composition, image and colour to the other two.
the colour of the the main poster will either be black or white. black; because it will show the rock element and portray the genre of their music more then any other colour as the connotes the dark sort of mysterious element that rock music have.
white; because it simple nd plain which means that it the only thing that will be catching the targets audiences eye would be the star, the artists/the band. furthermore the white also connotes pure innocent ange
lic, which could connote the the three members of the band are like that.
behind the girls is a big circle which
is suppose to represent candy. i chose to do this because it helps illustrate and amplify the name of the album which automatically catch/ appeal to the audience. the bubblegum also represents that pop element that the song has; and because our target audience is both male and female i have decided to add bright, vibrant colours to attract the female side. the band members already appeal to the male audience and the girls are dressed in a way that they will be attracted to them.
the girls have been positioned clearly in seductive way compared to the other to designs that i have done. the composition is meant to connote hat the girls are people who like to have fun, are down to earth etc.
the typography i have tried to use is more like a handwriting font. i chose this because it looks more down to earth and simple which signifies the band members personality.
Overall i have tried to link everything with each other to give both that appeal to females and males. i have also tried to cross media promote through looking at the colours that the members where and the colours that have been used in the video, to the text/ font style that we are thinking of using in the digi pack.
poster design 2
this poster is portraying more of the rock element then the pop of the bands genre. in comparison the poster 3. the background is the stripy element taken from the video which is cross media promotion. To make it slightly different from each other i have decided
change the colour from white and red to black and red as it will show the rock and pop elements of the bands music genre. The girls are positioned yet again in a seductive way in order to attract the male gender of our audience. personally i don't like the positioning of this image however as a group we have decided to see how it will look if is was to be put together.
